Since 2007 she has been a judge for Britain's Got Talent television talent competition on ITV. She also co-hosts the Heart Breakfast radio show with Jamie Theakston on weekday mornings. Holden was born in Portsmouth in Hampshire. She spent most of her growing up in Bishop's Waltham. At nine she joined the Bishop's Waltham Little Theatre Company. Holden also has TV credits that include three series that she co-starred with Caroline Quentin and Chris Langham in the comedy Kiss Me Kate, three episodes of ITV's The Grimleys and Celeb With Harry Enfield, and a special Agatha Christie episode "4.50 from Paddington" for Boxing Day. In Ready When You Are Mr. McGill by Jack Rosenthal she was in the role of Bill Nighy, Tom Courtenay and Aleha Dixon. Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams are judges on Britain's Got Talent. She was a judge on Britain's Got Talent from 2006 to 2006.
