Kristen Anne Bell (1980) is an extremely well-known American actress and singer. Her parents are Tom Bell and Lorelei Frygier, both television news directors. She was raised and birthed in Huntington Woods Michigan. Kristen was born in the town of Huntington Woods, Michigan and was raised by an Polish mother and father that has a mix of German, English Irish, Scottish, and Irish. Kristen's passion for acting was recognized at an early age. In 1992, she attended her first audition. She got an appearance on Raggedy Ann And Andy. Bell was accepted by her mother as an agent at the age of was only 13 years old. She was then selected for newspapers ads as well as TV commercials. At this time she began taking classes in acting. Bell was credited as a character in the movie Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell attended Shrine Catholic High School and was in the band as well as the drama club. The school's show of The Wizard of Oz, Bell was cast as Dorothy. After graduation Bell moved in New York City to attend the highly regarded Tisch School of the Arts, where she was a musical theater student. Bell left the university in 2001, and began taking on the character of Becky of Tom Sawyer. Bell made her debut film credits in Pootie Tang at the beginning of 2001. The scene however, was trimmed and now her appearance only appears in the credits at the end. Bell was in the Broadway revival The Crucible starring Liam Neeson & Angela Bettis.
