Linda Edna's parents are businessmen Wayne David Cardellini and Lorraine (Hernan). She was born in Redwood City in California. Linda is Italian by descent from her father's grandfather, Irish by the mother she had, German, English, Scottish as well as German. Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson (born 5 April 1989) more popularly known as the stage name Lily James, is an English actress. Her acting career began in the year 2010, with the British television series Just William, in which she was a student at the London's Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Her breakthrough came in 2015 when she played the role of lead in Cinderella the film of fantasy. The actress previously appeared as the role of Lady Rose MacClare as part of the period drama Downton Abbey. James went on to portray Countess Natasha Rostova in the television version of War & Peace (2016) and starred in several films. These included the action film Baby Driver (2017), the period dramas Darkest Hour (2017), The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society (2018) as well as The Dig (2021), and musicals Mamma Mia! We Go Back Again (2018) and Yesterday (2019). Her portrayal of Pamela Anderson for the biographical show Pam & Tommy in 2022 won her the Golden Globes and the Primetime Emmy Awards.
