Awkwafina An American singer and actress began with a series of rap songs that dealt with issues of sexual and race. Her fame grew into Hollywood following the release of a series of raps. Nora Lum, born in Forest Hills Queens to Chinese and Korean immigrants was her very first music experience. She performed on the trumpet. After a classical and jazz education her interest in hip-hop grew when she was an teen. After concentrating on education, she graduated with the degree of journalist in college and a women's studies major. It wasn't until after graduating that she turned her attention towards music. Her song My Vag, a response track to Mickey Avalon's My Dick gained viral popularity via the Internet in 2012. It eventually made it in the album debut Yellow Ranger released in 2014. It also contained popular hits that went viral, such as body-positive Queef or winking hometown tour the city of New York Bitche$. The final track was linked directly to Awkwafina's NYC travel guide, published in 2015. After a successful career as a musician, she took on the character of actress. Along with early series like Girl Code, Tawk and Bad Rap she also appeared in films such as Neighbors as well as Storks. In 2018, she scored breakthrough roles in a handful of high-profile films like Dude Ocean's Eight and Crazy Rich Asians. In June, she debuted her EP "In Fina We Trust".
